Abstract
(EN)
The invention relates to a flat cable, which includes metal conductors (2) enclosed by a flexible insulation sheath (3). The conductors (2) are flat and side by side in lateral direction and the conductors (2) are provided with bends which enable a substantial increase in the length of the conductors upon extending the insulation sheath (3) without breaking the conductors (2). The conductors (2) are provided at certain distances with short straight conductor sections (6). The insulation sheath (3) is constituted by an inner insulation (3.1), which surrounds the conductors (2) according to the outline thereof, and by a harder outer insulation (3.2), which serves as an actual protective cable sheath.

La présente invention concerne un câble plat qui comporte des conducteurs métalliques (2) contenus dans une gaine isolante (3) souple. Les conducteurs (2), qui sont plats et disposés côte à côte selon le sens transversal, présentent des plis qui autorisent un accroissement important de la longueur des conducteurs lors de l'étirement de la gaine isolante (3), sans risquer de rupture des conducteurs. Ces conducteurs (2) présentent, selon une périodicité longitudinale définie, de courts segments droits (6) de conducteur. La gaine isolante (3) est constituée d'une isolation intérieure (3.1) qui entoure les conducteurs en épousant leur contour, et d'une isolation extérieure dure (3.2) qui est la gaine effective de protection du câble.
