Abstract

This device (14) for stabilising a microcircuit supply voltage (Vst) comprises a stabilising capacitor (Chv, Cpp) biassed by a voltage (Vhv, Vpp) higher than the supply voltage (Vst), and at least one switching means (17) for connecting the stabilising capacitor (Chv, Cpp) with an internal supply line (15) of the microcircuit when the supply voltage (Vst) is lower than a predetermined threshold (Vmin). The advantage which the invention brings is to enable a reduction of the silicon surface required for the stabilising capacitor. The invention is useful for silicon integrated circuits, in particular smart card or electronic label microcircuits.

Ce dispositif (14) de stabilisation de la tension (Vst) d'alimentation d'un microcircuit comprend une capacité de stabilisation (Chv, Cpp) polarisée par une tension (Vhv, Vpp) plus élevée que la tension d'alimentation (Vst), et au moins un moyen interrupteur (17) pour connecter la capacité de stabilisation (Chv, Cpp) une ligne d'alimentation interne (15) du microcircuit quand la tension d'alimentation (Vst) est inférieure à un seuil prédéterminé (Vmin). L'avantage qu'apporte l'invention est de permettre une réduction de la surface de silicium nécessaire à la capacité de stabilisation. L'invention est applicable aux circuits intégrés silicium, notamment aux microcircuits de cartes à puce ou d'étiquettes électroniques.
