The invention discloses: refractory composite materials protected against oxidising at high temperature; the said materials produced by solid process comprise characteristically, on their entire external surface, a complex coating containing at least one silicate corresponding to a densifying additive added during production, silica and a vitreous silicate phase containing boron; precursors or preparation intermediates of the said materials; the said precursors comprise, characteristically, on their entire external surface, at least one coating of a borosilicate glass precursor or a coating of borosilicate glass; the preparation of the said materials (via that of the said precursors) and that of the said precursors.

La présente invention a pour objets: des matériaux composites réfractaires protégés contre l'oxydation à haute température; lesdits matériaux du type élaborés par voie solide comportent de façon caractéristique, sur toute leur surface externe, une couche complexe renfermant au moins un silicate correspondant à un ajout de densification intervenu au cours de leur élaboration, de la silice et une phase vitreuse silicatée contenant du bore; des précurseurs ou intermédiaires de préparation desdits matériaux; lesdits précurseurs comportent, de façon caractéristique, sur toute leur surface externe, au moins une couche d'un précurseur de verre borosilicaté ou une couche de verre borosilicatée; la préparation desdits matériaux (via celle desdits précurseurs) et celle desdits précurseurs.
