(EN)A polyester produced by polycondensing a polycarboxylic acid component comprising an aromatic dicarboxylic acid as the main component with a polyhydric alcohol component comprising a hindered glycol as the main component, which has a hydroxyl number of 30 mgKOH/g and a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of preferably 1,000 to 500,000. This polyester is suitable for the modification of resinous or rubbery polymers.
(FR)Cette invention concerne un polyester obtenu en effectuant la polycondensation entre, d'une part, un composant acide carboxylique contenant un acide dicarboxylique aromatique en qualité de composant principal et, d'autre part, un composant alcool polyhydrique comprenant un glycol inhibé en qualité de composant principal. Ce polyester possède un nombre d'hydroxyles de 30 mg KOH/g, ainsi qu'un poids moléculaire moyen en poids (Mw) variant de préférence entre 1.000 et 500.000. Ce polyester peut être utilisé dans la modification de polymères résineux ou caoutchouteux.
