In a method for preventing mineral salt deposits in fluid use systems, a device (10) has a capsule body (12) with walls (14, 16, 18) defining a chamber (20). The capsule body (12) is insertable in a fluid pipeline (24) so that the chamber (20) communicates on an upstream side and a downstream side with the pipeline (24). The capsule chamber (20) contains a multiplicity of spherical particles (22) made of composition enabling electron transfer. Specifically, the particles (22) are made of an alloy with basic components taken from the group consisting of copper, tin, zinc, nickel, and iron. At least 65 % of the sphere's (22) composition is copper with the other basic elements being present in the alloy in an amount by weight of 5-7.5 %.

Selon un procédé destiné à réduire la formation de dépôts de sel minéral dans des systèmes d'adduction de liquides, on utilise un dispositif comprenant un corps en forme de capsule doté de parois définissant une chambre. Le corps en forme de capsule peut être introduit dans une canalisation de liquide de sorte que la chambre communique, aussi bien du côté amont que du côté aval, avec la canalisation. La chambre de la capsule contient une pluralité de particules sphériques d'une composition permettant le transfert d'électrons. Ces particules sont plus particulièrement composées d'un alliage de constituants de base choisis dans le groupe composé de cuivre, étain, zinc, nickel et fer. La teneur en cuivre de chaque sphère est d'au moins 65 %, les autres éléments de base étant présents dans l'alliage en une teneur pondérale comprise entre 5 et 7,5 %.
