An antenna system for providing radiation over substantially 360° in azimuth by illuminating a conical reflector with a radiation beam having a frequency distribution with a local minimum which is coincident with the point of the reflector thus avoiding scattering. Preferably the radiation intensity distribution is annular, most preferably being Laguerre-Gaussian in nature.

L'invention concerne un système d'antenne destiné à produire un rayonnement sur sensiblement 360°, selon la direction azimutale, en éclairant un réflecteur conique avec un faisceau de rayonnement présentant une répartition de fréquence avec un minimum local qui correspond au point du réflecteur, permettant ainsi d'éviter la diffusion. De préférence, la distribution de l'intensité de rayonnement est annulaire, et de préférence, de type Laguerre-Gaussien.
