Bei der Planung und beim Bau sowie beim Betrieb einer technischen Anlage ist es notwendig, den genauen Verlauf eines verlegten Kabels (16), den sogenannten Kabelweg, festzustellen. Um besonders einfach und in kurzer Zeit den Verlauf auch einer Vielzahl von Kabeln (16) bestimmen zu können, wird erfindungsgemäß ein durch das oder jedes Kabel (16) geführtes, vorzugsweise moduliertes Prüfsignal (PS, PSm) mittels einer Anzahl von entlang des Kabelführungssystems (3) angeordneten Detektoren (6, 6') identifiziert.

In the design, construction and operation of a technical installation it is necessary to establish the precise run of a cable (16). In order to be able to determine the run of a cable or a plurality of cables (16), too, according to the invention a preferably modulated test signal (PS, PSm) taken through the or each cable (16) is identified by means of a number of detectors (6, 6') fitted along the cable carrier system (3).

Lors de la planification, de la construction, ou encore, de l'exploitation d'une installation technique, il est nécessaire d'établir le parcours exact suivi par un câble posé (16), à savoir, ce qui est appelé le trajet de câble. Conformément à l'invention, afin de pouvoir déterminer très facilement et rapidement le trajet d'un câble ou d'une pluralité de câbles (16), un signal de contrôle (PS, PSm) guidé, et de préférence modulé par le câble ou chaque câble (16), est identifié au moyen d'une pluralité de détecteurs (6, 6') agencés le long du système de guidage de câbles (3).
