Herpesvirus protease inhibitor 4H-thieno[2,3-d][1,3]oxazin-4-one derivatives which are: 2-substituted by XNH-CHR1- wherein X is R4CO wherein R4 is a moiety containing one or more functional groups selected from an aromatic or heteroaromatic group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group; and R1 is hydrogen or an amino acid side chain.

L'invention concerne des dérivés 4$i(H)-thiéno[2,3-d][1,3]oxazin-4-one, agissant comme inhibiteurs de la protéase de l'herpèsvirus, à substitution en position 2 par XNH-CHR1-, où X est R4CO, R4 représentant une fraction contenant un ou plusieurs groupes fonctionnels choisis parmi un groupe aromatique ou hétéroaromatique, un groupe alcényle, un groupe alcynyle et R1 représente hydrogène ou une chaîne latérale d'acide aminé.
