Es sind Baßreflexboxen bekannt, die einen Baßlautsprecher und eine Baßreflexöffnung in einer Schallwand eines Gehäuses definierten Volumens aufweisen. Der Baßlautsprecher, die Baßreflexöffnung und das Volumen des Gehäuses sind derart aufeinander abgestimmt, daß der Impedanzverlauf der Baßreflexbox bei einer definierten Frequenz ein Maximum aufweist, bei welchem der Baßlautsprecher und die Luft in der Baßreflexöffnung gleichphasig schwingen. Zur Verbesserung der Schallabstrahlung wird vorgeschlagen, vor der Schallwand eine den Baßlautsprecher und die Reflexöffnung einschließende endseitig offene Leitung anzubringen, deren Länge derart eingestellt ist, daß die Impedanz bei der definierten Frequenz verringert wird.

There are known bass reflex boxes which have a bass loudspeaker and a bass reflex opening in an acoustic baffle of a housing with a defined volume. The bass loudspeaker, the bass reflex opening and the volume of the housing are so matched with one another that the impedance curve of the bass reflex box has a maximum at a defined frequency, at which the bass loudspeaker and the air in the bass reflex opening oscillate in phase. To improve the sound radiation, it is proposed to add an open-ended conductor in front of the acoustic baffle that encloses the bass loudspeaker and the reflex opening, and whose length is so determined that the impedance at the defined frequency is reduced.

On connaît déjà les enceintes bass-reflex comportant un haut-parleur de graves et une ouverture bass-reflex dans un baffle acoustique d'une enceinte d'un volume défini. Le haut-parleur de graves, l'ouverture bass-reflex et le volume de l'enceinte sont adaptés les uns aux autres de telle manière que la courbe d'impédance de l'enceinte bass-reflex présente un maximum à une fréquence définie, maximum auquel le haut-parleur de graves et l'air contenu dans l'ouverture bass-reflex vibrent en phase. Pour améliorer le rayonnement du son, on place devant le baffle acoustique un conducteur ouvert côté extrémité, qui entoure le haut-parleur de graves et l'ouverture reflex et dont la longueur est déterminée de manière à réduire l'impédance à la fréquence définie.
