An itinerary monitoring system is described for use with a mobile object which uses a satellite navigation receiver, a memory which stores a series of itinerary data points, such as geographic location, and radio transceivers. The itinerary monitoring system includes a mobile unit carried by a mobile object which determines the geographic location of the mobile object over a time period using satellite navigation and stores the locations in memory. Additional information can be stored in the memory. The mobile unit includes a transceiver for two-way communication with a base transceiver to retrieve data stored in the memory.

Ce système de surveillance d'un itinéraire est utilisé dans un objet mobile équipé d'un récepteur de navigation par satellite, d'une mémoire d'enregistrement d'une série de points de données sur l'itinéraire, tels que la position géographique, et d'émetteurs-récepteurs radio.
