(EN)Compositions and methods relating to cementitious compositions are provided. The addition of an amidoamine that is the reaction product of polyalkylenepolyamines and short-chain alkanedioic acids or reactive derivatives thereof to cementitious compositions has been found useful in inhibiting the corrosion of ferrous metal articles in contact with said composition. The amidoamine is advantageously employed in combination with a hydrophobe compound that enhances corrosion inhibition. The invention also provides aqueous emulsions which contain the amidoamine, one or more hydrophobes, and an emulsifier for the hydrophobe.
(FR)La présente invention concerne des compositions et des procédés relatifs aux compositions du type ciment. Dans ces compositions, l'adjonction d'une amidoamine issue de la réaction de polyalkylènepolyamines avec des acides alcanedioïques à chaîne courte ou leurs dérivés réactifs, s'est avérée une façon efficace de prévenir la corrosion des articles en métaux ferreux au contact d'une telle composition du type ciment. Cette amidoamine s'utilise avantageusement en association avec un composé hydrophobe renforçant l'inhibition de la corrosion. L'invention concerne également des émulsions aqueuses contenant l'amidoamine, un ou plusieurs agents hydrophobes et un émulsifiant spécifique de l'agent hydrophobe.
