(EN)A process for preparing calcium oxide, strontium oxide or barium oxide consists in the treatment of the corresponding hydroxides following the reactions (I): Ca(OH)¿2? $m(7) CaO + H¿2?O; (II): Sr(OH)¿2? $m(7) SrO + H¿2?O; (III): Ba(OH)¿2? $m(7) BaO + H¿2?O; at temperatures comprised between 400 and 900 °C during a time between 1 and 15 hours under vacuum or in an inert gas atmosphere. Preferably said reaction is caused to take place in a capsule with at least a portion of surface being permeable to the gas flow.
(FR)L'invention porte sur un procédé de production d'oxydes de calcium, de strontium ou de baryum consistant à traiter les hydroxydes correspondants consécutifs aux réactions (I): Ca(OH)¿2? $m(7) CaO + H¿2?O; (II): Sr(OH)¿2? $m(7) SrO + H¿2?O; (III): Ba(OH)¿2? $m(7) BaO + H¿2?O; à des températures comprises entre 400 et 900 °C, entre 1 et 15 heures, sous vide ou dans une atmosphère de gaz inerte. Ladite réaction se déroule, de préférence, dans une capsule dont une partie au moins de la surface est perméable au flux gazeux.
