(EN)Three chemokines, RANTES, MIP-1$g(a) and MIP-1$g(b), are produced and secreted by several cell types, including CD8 positive lymphocytes, and act as HIV Suppressive Factors (SF). The identification of these substances as factors responsible for restricting HIV proliferation implicates their use, the use of analogs, and the use of respective genes, in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of AIDS and other retrovirus-induced diseases.
(FR)Trois chemokines, RANTES, MIP-1$g(a) et MIP-1$g(b), sont produites et sécrétées par plusieurs types de cellules, y compris des lymphocytes positifs CD8, et jouent un rôle de facteurs de suppression de HIV (SF).
