Abstract:
(EN) A ten pole/twelve slot brushless DC motor for a disk drive spindle includes a base; a cylindrical rotor structure rotating relative to the base and a generally symmetrically slotted stator structure fixed about an axis of rotation. The rotor structure includes a permanent magnet ring structure (56) defining ten permanently magnetized alternating north-south magnet segments (56a-56j). The stator structure includes a ferromagnetic core (60) defining twelve slots (65) between twelve stator poles (64). Coils of insulated wire are wound around the stator poles in one of a plurality of winding patterns and connected into a series of phases, e.g. three phases.
(FR) Un moteur sans balais à courant continu à dix pôles et douze rainures pour broche de mécanisme d'entraînement de disque comporte une base, un rotor cylindrique en rotation par rapport à la base et un stator à rainures généralement symétriques fixé autour d'un axe de rotation. Le rotor comporte un anneau magnétique permanent (56) délimitant dix segments magnétiques (56a 56j) magnétisés de façon permanente, en alternance nord-sud. Le stator comporte un noyau ferromagnétique (60) délimitant douze rainures (65) entre douze pôles (64). Des bobines de fil isolé sont enroulées autour des pôles du stator selon une ou plusieurs configurations d'enroulement et montées en série de phases, trois phases par exemple.
