Abstract:
(EN) A radar device for a vehicle, particularly a motor vehicle, is disclosed. The device comprises a monopulse antenna (6) connected to transmitting means (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) transmitting at least two substantially pure sinusoidal waves (F0+F1, F0+F2) and means (7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13) for detecting the phase and amplitude of the signal received over the sum channel ($g(S)) relative to the intermediate-frequency signals (F1, F2), and detecting the phase and amplitude of the signal received over the difference channel ($g(D)) relative to at least one of the intermediate-frequency signals (F2). The device is useful as an alarm for warning of hazardous obstacles for motor vehicles.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif radar pour véhicule notamment automobile. Le dispositif comporte une antenne (6) de type monopulse reliée à des moyens d'émission (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) émettant au moins deux ondes (F0+F1, F0+F2) ayant sensiblement la forme de sinusoïdes pures et des moyens (7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13) pour détecter la phase et l'amplitude du signal reçu sur la voie somme ($g(S)) par rapport aux signaux à fréquence intermédiaire (F1, F2) et pour détecter la phase et l'amplitude du signal reçu sur la voie différence ($g(D)) par rapport à au moins un des signaux à fréquence intermédiaire (F2). Application: alarme en cas d'obstacles dangereux pour véhicules automobiles.
