Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a microsensor for determining the concentration of a primary substrate by measuring the concentration of a secondary substrate. The microsensor comprises a transducer (1) for measuring the secondary substrate. The transducer (1) is surrounded by a first casing (8), which has an opening (9) with a barrier (10). The first casing (8) surrounds a second casing (11), also with an opening (12) with a barrier (13). In the first casing (8) between the barrier (10) in the first casing (8) and the barrier (13) in the second casing (11), a reaction space (15) is formed. In the reaction space (15) an environment with catalytic components is contained. By measuring the concentration of the secondary substrate, the presence of the primary substrate can be determined. In a preferred embodiment the microsensor is intended for measuring the presence of methane by using an oxygen microelectrode as a transducer. The primary substrate in this embodiment is methane, while the secondary substrate is oxygen.
(FR) L'invention concerne un microcapteur qui permet de déterminer la concentration d'un substrat primaire par mesure de la concentration d'un substrat secondaire. Le microcapteur comprend un transducteur (1) pour effectuer les mesures sur le second substrat. Le transducteur (1) est entouré d'un premier boîtier (8), doté d'une ouverture (9) à barrière (10). Le premier boîtier (8) entoure un second boîtier (11), également doté d'une ouverture (12) à barrière (13). Entre la barrière (10) du premier boîtier (8) et la barrière (13) du second boîtier (11), est formé un espace de réaction (15) qui contient un environnement à base de constituants catalytiques. En mesurant la concentration du substrat secondaire, on peut déterminer celle du substrat primaire. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, le microcapteur sert à mesurer la concentration de méthane, au moyen d'une microélectrode à oxygène tenant lieu de transducteur. En l'occurrence, les substrats primaire et secondaire sont respectivement le méthane et l'oxygène.
