Abstract:
(EN) A polypropylene composition for preparing various molded articles having well-balanced properties among moldability, molding shrinkage, rigidity, flexibility, impact resistance particularly at low temperatures, transparency, gloss and blushing resistance; various molded articles possessing the above properties; a propylene composition suitable as a base resin for the polypropylene composition; and a process for preparing the same. The propylene composition is characterized by comprising a homopolymer of propylene and a propylene/ethylene copolymer, the intrinsic viscosity ([$g(h)]RC) of the copolymer being in the range of from 1.7 to 2.8 dl/g, the intrinsic viscosity ratio ([$g(h)]RC/[$g(h)]PP) of the homopolymer to the copolymer being in the range of from 0.7 to 1.2, and the product of the homopolymer to copolymer weight ratio (WPP/WRC) and the intrinsic viscosity ratio thereof, (WPP/WRC)x([$g(h)]RC/[$g(h)]PP), being in the range of from 1.0 to 3.0.
(FR) L'invention concerne une composition de polypropylène pour préparer différents articles moulés ayant des propriétés bien équilibrées d'aptitude au moulage, de retrait au moulage, de rigidité, de flexibilité, de résistance aux chocs (en particulier aux basses températures), de transparence, de brillant et de résistance au ternissement; différents articles moulés possédant ces propriétés; une composition de propylène convenant comme résine de base pour une composition de polypropylène; et un procédé pour préparer cette composition. La composition de propylène est caractérisée par le fait qu'elle comprend un homopolymère du propylène et un copolymère propylène/éthylène, que la viscosité intrinsèque ([$g(h)]RC) du copolymère est dans la plage de 1,7 à 2,8 dl/g, le rapport des viscosités intrinsèques ([$g(h)]RC/[$g(h)]PP) de l'homopolymère sur le copolymère se trouve dans la plage allant de 0,7 à 1,2 et le produit du rapport pondéral de l'homopolymère sur le copolymère (WPP/WRC) par le rapport des viscosités intrinsèques, c'est-à-dire (WPP/WRC)x([$g(h)]RC/[$g(h)]PP) se trouve dans la plage de 1,0 à 3,0.
