Abstract:
(EN) A method for generating an axisymmetrical or planosymmetrical plasma stream, useful for delivering a chemical or a body to be treated into the central portion of the stream, and a device therefor, are disclosed. An additional non-self-maintained discharge is generated downstream from the main plasma stream by means of a direct, alternating or high-frequency electric field. The main discharge heats, accelerates and preionises the gas and the delivered chemical components, and the non-self-maintained discharge enables excitation of the active components of the stream. The method and device may be used in processes for treating surfaces and preparing chemicals.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de génération d'un flux de plasma axisymétrique ou planosymétrique, utilisable pour introduire un produit chimique ou un corps à traiter dans la partie centrale du flux, ainsi que le dispositif de mise en oeuvre du procédé. L'invention est caractérisée par la création supplémentaire, en aval du flux principal de plasma, d'une décharge non autonome, créée à l'aide d'un champ électrique continu, alternatif ou HF. La décharge principale échauffe, accélère et ionise préalablement le gas et les composantes chimiques introduites, la décharge non autonome permet d'exciter les composantes actives du flux. Application aux processus de traitement de surface et d'obtention de produits chimiques.
