Abstract:
(EN) A composite polymer solid electrolyte prepared by impregnating a unicellular polymer foam with an electrolyte. A polymer matrix constituted of cell walls defining closed cells is impregnated with a nonaqueous electrolyte, continuous solid-phase domains are formed and the closed cells are substantially filled with the nonaqueous electrolyte. A nonaqueous electrochemical device, such as a nonaqueous cell, components for a voltaic cell like electrodes, etc., using the solid electolyte are disclosed. The solid electrolyte has a high ionic conductivity and a high mechanical strength. The nonaqueous solution in the closed cells hardly leaks. Therefore, the nonaqueous electrochemical device using the solid electrolyte has an excellent electrochemical performance and an excellent electrolyte holding property, and is extremely high in reliability and safety.
(FR) L'invention concerne un électrolyte solide polymère composite préparé par imprégnation d'une mousse polymère unicellulaire avec un électrolyte. Une matrice polymère constituée de parois cellulaires définissant des alvéoles fermées est imprégnée avec un électrolyte non aqueux, des domaines continus de phase solide sont formés et les alvéoles fermées sont pratiquement remplies d'électrolyte non aqueux. Un dispositif électrochimique non aqueux, tel qu'une cellule non aqueuse, des constituants destinés à un élément galvanique comme des électrodes, etc., mettant en oeuvre l'électrolyte solide sont également décrits. Cet électrolyte solide présente une conductivité ionique et une résistance mécanique élevées. La solution non aqueuse contenue dans les alvéoles fermées ne fuit pratiquement pas. Ainsi, le dispositif électrochimique non aqueux mettant en oeuvre l'électrolyte solide possède un excellent rendement électrochimique ainsi que d'excellentes caractéristiques de contenance de l'électrolyte, et est extrêmement fiable et sûr.
