Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a method to control the temperature for sealing devices used in the packaging industry which sealing devices are provided with electrically heated elements made of temperature dependent resistance material. The electrical current is divided in pulses whereby the length of the pulses is adjusted by means of a controlled switch (6). During the interruptions between the said current pulses, separate measuring current pulses of a constant and known value are generated which pulses will cause an electric voltage drop over the resistance element (2). Said voltage drop will be proportional to the temperature of the resistance element. The voltage drop will in a regulator (7) be compared with a set potential corresponding to a desired temperature whereby the sensed potential difference between the voltage drop measured and the set potential value is adapted to control a driving device (9) which will control the length of the heat generating current pulses.
(FR) L'invention a trait à un procédé permettant de commander la température existant dans des dispositifs d'étanchéité utilisés dans l'industrie du conditionnement. Ces dispositifs sont pourvus d'éléments chauffés électriquement et faits d'un matériau dont la résistance est fonction de la température. Le courant électrique est divisé en impulsions dont la longueur est adaptée à l'aide d'un commutateur commandé (6). Pendant les interruptions intervenant entre ces impulsions de courant, des impulsions distinctes de courant de mesure d'une valeur connue et constante sont produites, entraînant une chute de tension électrique sur l'élément à résistance (2). Cette chute de tension, qui est proportionnelle à la température de l'élément à résistance, est alors comparée dans un régulateur (7) à un potentiel fixé correspondant à une température souhaitée. De la sorte, la différence de potentiel obtenue par détection entre la chute de tension mesurée et la valeur de potentiel fixé est ajustée afin d'agir sur un dispositif de commande (9) qui règle la longueur des impulsions de courant calogène.
