Abstract:
(EN) The shelf-life of a bacterial or fungal spore-based biocontrol product can be extended by reducing the level of oxygen available to the spores. Oxygen can be reduced by replacement with another gas or by withdrawing the available oxygen from the product. A two- to six-fold extension of the shelf-life is readily obtained.
(FR) Il est possible d'accroître la durée utile d'un produit de lutte biologique à base de spores bactériens ou fongiques en réduisant le niveau d'oxygène dont disposent ces spores. On peut obtenir cette réduction en remplaçant l'oxygène par un autre gaz ou en éliminant du produit l'oxygène disponible. On peut aisément, de la sorte, accroître de deux à six fois cette durée utile.
