Abstract:
(EN) A desalination system (10) using hydrostatic pressure formed in a vertical mine shaft (12) to function reverse osmosis membranes (33, 35) plumbed so that permeate water from the last membrane is input water to the next. The hydrostatic pressure forces the brine water from the first membrane nearby to the earth's surface. The second brine water is likely usable as drinking water. The final water product is pure enough to be agriculturally usable.
(FR) Système de dessalement par pression hydrostatique créée dans un puits de mine vertical et agissant sur des membranes d'osmose inverse (33, 35) plombées de sorte que l'eau de perméation provenant de la dernière membrane passe à la suivante. La pression hydrostatique propulse l'eau salée provenant de la première membrane à proximité de la surface terrestre. La seconde eau salée pourrait être utilisée comme eau potable. L'eau finale produite est suffisamment pure pour pouvoir être utilisée en agriculture.
