Abstract:
(EN) Paper for use as a separator in an electrochemical cell completely absorbs a 50 $g(m)l drop of water placed thereon in a time of not less than four minutes and not greater than fifteen minutes at 20 °C and provides an improved cell having less leakage and corrosion, especially in a mercury-free cell.
(FR) Le papier est utilisé comme séparateur dans une cellule électrochimique et absorbe totalement une goutte d'eau de 50 $g(m)l placée sur celui-ci sur une durée comprise entre quatre et quinze minutes maximum, à 20 °C, et permet d'obtenir une cellule améliorée dans laquelle on a réduit les fuites et la corrosion, notamment une cellule exempte de mercure.
