Abstract:
(EN) Polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) polyester is recovered from vegetable matter associated with its production in transgenic plants. The process involves contacting the vegetable matter with one or more reagents inactive toward PHA but effective to solubilize at least part of the vegetable matter, taking off the resulting solution, and recovering PHA from the residue enriched therein. Effective solubilizing reagents that are preferred include enzyme formulations comprising carbohydrases, hydrolases or proteases.
(FR) On récupère du polyester de polyhydroxyalcanoate (PHA) dans une matière végétale associée à sa production dans des plantes transgéniques. Ce procédé consiste à mettre la matière végétale en contact avec un ou plusieurs réactifs inactifs à l'égard de PHA mais efficaces pour solubiliser au moins une partie de la matière végétale, à retirer la solution obtenue et à récupérer PHA dans le résidu enrichi dans ladite solution. Les réactifs efficaces de solubilisation préférés sont entre autres des formulations enzymatiques incluant des carbohydrases, hydrolases ou protéases.
