Abstract:
(EN) A separation medium comprising a base matrix and matrix-bound groups which exhibit recombinant Protein A containing a cysteine. The groups comply with the formula: - B - X - rProtein A-cys where B is a bridge which binds to the base matrix and X includes a heteroatom N or S from rProtein A-cys. The characterizing feature is that X is thioether sulphur and/or a secondary amine (-NH-). Protein A variant characterized in that the C-terminal residue is cysteine.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un milieu de séparation constitué d'une matrice base et de groupes liés à la matrice et qui comportent une Protéine A de recombinaison contenant une cystéine. Ces groupes sont représentés par la formule - B - X-rProtéine A-cys. Dans cette formule, B est un pont qui est lié à la matrice de base et X inclut un hétéroatome N ou S issu de la rProtéine A-cys. La caractéristique en est que X est un thioéther soufre et/ou une amine secondaire (-NH-). Ce qui caractérise le variant de la Protéine A est que le groupe C-terminal est la cystéine.
