Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides an electrosurgical device comprising a shaft (22) having a proximal end and a distal end. A wire (21) is disposed near the distal end of the shaft, the wire (21) defining a transverse curve and being energizable. A plurality of rolling elements (19) are rotatably disposed over the wire (21) and remove target tissue when the wire is energized. The curved wire (21) fans the rolling elements (19) out, increasing the active contact area of the electrosurgical device with the target tissue, and also directing energy into the tissue along discrete separated paths.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un dispositif électrochirurgical comportant un arbre (22) présentant une extrémité proximale et une extrémité distale. Un fil (21) placé à proximité de l'extrémité distale de l'arbre et faisant une boucle transversale peut être mis sous tension. Une série de rouleaux, montés tournants sur le fil (21), enlèvent les tissus cibles alors que le fil est sous tension. Le fil déploie les rouleaux (19) vers l'extérieur de manière à accroître la zone de contact actif entre le dispositif électrochirurgical et le tissu cible tout en dirigeant l'énergie dans le tissu suivant des trajectoires discrètes séparés.
