Abstract:
(EN) Tissue is examined with a device (34) that includes one or more transducer elements (36), each of which generates a signal in response to force imposed on the transducer element (36) in accordance with varying properties of an underlying tissue structure (32) as the transducer element (36) is pressed against and moved over the tissue (32). The tissue examination device (36) further includes circuitry for detecting a variation in the signals as an indication of a composition of the underlying tissue structure (32).
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif pour l'examen des tissus (34), qui comprend un ou plusieurs éléments transducteurs (36). Chacun de ces éléments (36) engendre un signal en réponse à une force qui lui est appliquée réagissant selon les différentes propriétés d'une structure de tissu sous-jacente (32) à mesure qu'il est pressé contre le tissu (32) et déplacé sur lui. Le dispositif en question (36) comprend en outre un circuit qui détecte les variations des signaux révélant telle ou telle composition d'une structure de tissu sous-jacente (32).
