Abstract:
(EN) An active matrix liquid crystal display panel (1) comprises a plurality of liquid crystal display elements (2) distributed in a matrix of rows and columns; means (10-11) for supplying video signals and display element selection signals, including row and column conductors (4-9); and a plurality of threshold switching elements (3) each serially coupled between the corresponding row or column conductor (4-9) and the liquid crystal display element (2) and each acting as a display element selection device and a current isolation device, wherein the threshold switching elements (3) have an off state resistance of 1,000,000,000 ohms.
(FR) Un panneau d'affichage à matrice active à cristaux liquides (1) comporte plusieurs éléments d'affichage à cristaux liquides (2) répartis dans une matrice de rangées et de colonnes ainsi qu'un équipement (10, 11) permettant de fournir des signaux vidéo et des signaux de sélection d'élément d'affichage, comprenant des conducteurs (4-9) de rangée et de colonne. Il comporte également plusieurs éléments de commutation à seuil (3), chacun couplé en série entre les bornes du conducteur (4-9) correspondant de rangée ou de colonne et celles de l'élément d'affichage à cristaux liquides (2) et agissant, chacun, en tant que dispositif de sélection d'élément d'affichage ainsi qu'un dispositif isolateur, les éléments de commutation à seuil (3) ayant une résistance à l'état bloqué de 1 x 109 ohms.
