Abstract:
(EN) A method and system for adaptive transient fuel compensation in a cylinder of a multi-cylinder engine estimates fuel puddle dynamics for the cylinder by determining parameters of a wall-wetting model every engine cycle. Fuel delivery to the cylinder is adjusted dependent on the estimated fuel puddle dynamics. An adaptive controller (203) is characterized by three components, an adjustable compensator (207), a wall-wetting model (215), and a parameter adaptation algorithm (221). The adjustable compensator (207) receives estimates of a parameter C (223) and of a parameter bv (225) directly from the parameter adaptation algorithm (221), and adjusts fuel injected (213) dependent on the parameter estimates (223 and 225) and a desired fuel demand (205).
(FR) Un procédé et un système donnent une compensation transitoire adaptative concernant l'alimentation en carburant d'un cylindre de moteur à plusieurs cylindres, en estimant la dynamique des accumulations de carburant pour ce cylindre par la détermination des paramètres d'un modèle d'humidification des parois à chaque cycle du moteur. L'alimentation du cylindre en carburant est réglée selon la dynamique estimée de ces accumulations de carburant. Un circuit de commande adaptatif (203) comprend trois éléments: un compensateur réglable (207), un modèle d'humidification des parois (215), et un algorithme d'adaptation des paramètres (221).
