Abstract:
(EN) Amino acid sequences substantially identical to the C-terminal end of an $g(a)-S2 casein precursor are shown to act as growth promoters. Disclosed are sequences from Bovine $g(a)-S2 casein including the 9 C-terminal amino acids: LysValIleProTyrValArgTyrLeu. Also disclosed are foodstuffs and medicaments comprising the peptides of the invention and a method of producing same.
(FR) On a démontré que des séquences d'acides aminés sensiblement identiques à l'extrémité C-terminale d'un précurseur de caséine $g(a)-S2 agissent comme promoteurs de croissance. L'invention concerne des séquences provenant de caséine $g(a)-S2 bovine comprenant les 9 acides aminés C-terminaux: LysValIleProTyrValArgTyrLeu. Elle concerne également des substances alimentaires et des médicaments contenant les peptides selon l'invention, ainsi qu'un procédé servant à les préparer.
