Abstract:
(EN) A method for C-alkylating a hydroxylated aromatic compound having at least one hydrogen atom in the ortho or para position relative to the hydroxyl grouping, wherein the aromatic compound is exposed to a proton acid and a compound causing the formation of a carbo-cation in the presence of the acid, and the reaction is performed in the presence of a solvent consisting of a water-alcohol pair.
(FR) Procédé de C-alkylation d'un composé aromatique hydroxylé ayant au moins un atome d'hydrogène en ortho ou para par rapport au groupement hydroxyle, dans lequel on met ce composé aromatique en présence d'un acide protonique et d'un composé conduisant à la formation d'un carbocation en présence de l'acide, la réaction étant conduite en présence d'un solvant formé d'un couple eau, alcool.
