Abstract:
(EN) An apparatus for making multilayer fluid conduits (10) includes an extruder (80) delivering a thermoplastic material selected from chlorinated polyvinyl chloride, polyvinyl chloride, acrylonitrile-butadiene, polyurethane and combinations thereof along a common plane extending from the extruder feed axis through a feed conduit (86) and into an extrusion head (88). The extrusion head includes a pin (90) with longitudinally extending bore (91) and a tubular structure defining an annular compression chamber (96) around the pin. A pair of groove halves (92a, 92b) lie in the common plane and reduce linearly in depth as they extend around opposite sides of the pin. A heat activated adhesive material is applied to the outer surface (13) of a tubular metal pipe (12) and is activated by heating within the extrusion head to an elevated temperature. The thermoplastic material is extruded from the compression chamber directly onto and around the heated, adhesive covered tubular outer surface of the pipe, seamlessly covering the entire surface of each successive pipe passed through the extrusion head. A method comprises the foregoing steps.
(FR) Cette invention se rapporte à un appareil pour fabriquer des conduits de fluides (10) multicouches, cet appareil comprenant une extrudeuse (80) libérant un matériau thermoplastique choisi parmi le chlorure de polyvinyle chloré, le chlorure de polyvinyle, l'acrylonitrile-butadiène, le polyuréthane et des combinaisons de ceux-ci, le long d'un plan commun s'étendant depuis l'axe d'alimentation de l'extrudeuse à travers un conduit d'alimentation (86) et jusque dans une tête d'extrusion (88). Cette tête d'extrusion comprend une broche (90) comportant un passage longitudinal (91) et une structure tubulaire définissant une chambre de compression annulaire (96) autour de la broche. Une paire de demi-rainures (92a, 92b) sont placées dans ce plan commun et diminuent linéairement en profondeur à mesure qu'elles s'étendent autour des côtés opposés de la broche. Un matériau adhésif activé thermiquement est appliqué sur la surface extérieure (13) d'un tuyau métallique tubulaire (12) et il est activé par une action chauffante à l'intérieur de la tête d'extrusion jusqu'à un niveau de température élevé.
