Abstract:
(EN) A method of treating natural or synthetic pile or brushed fabrics to reduce marking caused by rubbing or handling the fabrics, while leaving the fabrics with a soft feel and a full, thick hand. The method consists of the application to the fabrics of liquid compositions comprising: a) about 80-100 % of a water-dispersible, hydrophilic polyester or polyurethane dispersed in an aqueous medium; b) about 0-20 % of a carrier of the type used to enhance the penetration of dyes and other materials into the polymer structure of polyester fibers; and c) about 0-10 % of a non-rewetting wetting agent.
(FR) Procédé de traitement des tissus à poils ou grattés, naturels ou synthétiques, grâce auxquels on peut diminuer les marques dues au frottement ou à la manipulation, tout en les laissant doux et en leur donnant un bon toucher. Le procédé consiste à appliquer sur les tissus des compositions liquides comprenant: a) environ 80-100 % d'un polyester ou d'un polyuréthanne hydrophile, dispersible dans l'eau, en dispersion dans un milieu aqueux; b) environ 0-20 % d'un support du type utilisé pour accroître la pénétration de pigments et autres matériaux dans la structure polymère des fibres polyester; et c) environ 0-10 % d'un agent mouillant non lubrifiant.
