Abstract:
(EN) Amyloid aggregation in animals is inhibited by administering a naphthylazo compound of formula (I), wherein R1 and R2 are hydrogen, alkyl, substituted alkyl, or complete a heterocyclic ring, R3 is hydrogen or alkyl, R4, R5, R6, and R7 are substituent groups. The compounds are especially useful and preventing and treating Alzheimer's disease.
(FR) Chez les animaux, la dégénérescence amyloïde est inhibée par l'administration d'un composé naphtylazo de formule (I), où R1 et R2 sont hydrogène, alkyle, alkyle substitué, ou complètement un noyau hétérocyclique, R3 est hydrogène ou alkyle, R4, R5, R6 et R7 sont des groupes substituants. Ces composés sont particulièrement utiles pour la prévention et le traitement de la maladie d'Alzheimer.
