Abstract:
(EN) A cellular communication system (300) and a method where a mobile user (320') communicates coded information signals on a radio channel (505) via a cellsite (315) and a cellsite controller (317) to a switching network (305). The switching network switches the signal to a transcoder (340') which converts the coded signal to an uncoded signal. The uncoded signal is communicated to another user (360), and may be maintained and remain untouched and uninterrupted during handoff.
(FR) Un système (300) et un procédé de communications cellulaires permettent à un utilisateur mobile (320') de communiquer des signaux d'informations codés sur un canal radio (505), par l'intermédiaire d'un emplacement de cellule (315) et un contrôleur (317) d'emplacement de cellules, vers un réseau de commutation (305). Le réseau de commutation commute le signal vers un transcodeur (340') qui convertit le signal codé en un signal non codé, lequel est communiqué à un autre utilisateur (360) et peut être maintenu et rester exempt de perturbation et d'interruption pendant le transfert intercellulaire.
