Abstract:
(EN) A method of determining the total carbon dioxide concentration in plasma (TCO2 plasma) directly from a whole blood sample involves adjusting TCO2 measured in the whole blood sample (TCO2 whole blood) using a volume dilution factor (VDF) to give a value that is equivalent to TCO2 plasma.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé pour déterminer directement la concentration totale de dioxyde de carbone dans le plasma (TCO2 plasma) à partir d'un prélèvement de sang total. Ledit procédé consiste à ajuster la valeur de TCO2 plasma mesurée dans le prélèvement de sang total (TCO2 sang total) au moyen d'un facteur de dilution volumétrique (VDF) pour donner une valeur équivalente à TCO2 plasma.
