Abstract:
(EN) A retrofitted unit to an existing simple refrigerated natural gas plant that substantially increases the amounts of propane, butanes and natural gasoline, or ethane, propane, butanes and natural gasoline recovered from the natural gas in the existing gas treatment plant, wherein in one embodiment the existing natural gas treatment plant includes a refrigerated feed cooler, a separator and a stabilizer and the retrofitted unit comprises an NGL absorber, a refrigerated lean solvent cooler and a lean solvent regenerator; and wherein in a second embodiment the existing simple refrigerated gas treatment plant additionally includes an NGL fractionation train that separates the recovered NGL into saleable fractions and wherein the NGL fractionation train includes a debutanizer that produces all or part of the lean solvent utilized in the retrofitted unit which comprises an NGL absorber and a refrigerated solvent cooler; and wherein the natural gas treatment process utilizes a solvent that is pre-saturated with lighter undesirable components present in the overhead stream from the NGL absorber.
(FR) Unité améliorée destinée à une installation de traitement de gaz naturel réfrigérée simple déjà existante, qui augmente sensiblement la quantité de propane, de butanes et d'essence naturelle, ou d'éthane, de propane, de butanes et d'essence naturelle récupérés à partir du gaz naturel dans l'installation existante. Dans l'un des modes de réalisation, cette dernière comprend un refroidisseur d'alimentation réfrigéré, un séparateur et un stabilisateur, et l'unité améliorée comprend un absorbeur de liquides du gaz naturel, un refroidisseur de solvant léger réfrigéré et un régénérateur de solvant léger. Dans un second mode de réalisation, l'installation comprend en outre un train de fractionnement de liquides du gaz naturel, qui sépare les liquides récupérés en fractions commercialisables et qui comprend un débutaniseur produisant la totalité ou une partie du solvant léger utilisé dans l'unité améliorée. Celle-ci comprend un absorbeur de liquides du gaz naturel et un refroidisseur de solvant réfrigéré. Le procédé de traitement du gaz naturel utilise un solvant qui est pré-saturé par des composants indésirables plus légers présents dans le flux de tête provenant de l'absorbeur de liquides du gaz naturel.
