Abstract

A propeller (10) including: a hub (11) with a central axis of rotation (12); and three propeller blades (13) supported on said hub, the blades being mounted for pivotal movement about axes (14) extending substantially normal to the axis of rotation of the hub, characterised in that each blade includes about its axis of pivotal mounting bevel gear means (21) in mesh with the bevel gear means of a neighbouring blade.

L'invention porte sur une hélice (10) comprenant un moyeu (11) doté d'un axe central de rotation (12) et trois pales d'hélice (13) montées sur ce moyeu dont le montage autorise un mouvement de pivotement autour d'axes (14) se déployant quasiment à angle droit par rapport à l'axe de rotation du moyeu. Le dispositif est caractérisé en ce que chaque pale comporte, autour de son axe de montage en pivot, un pignon conique (21) en prise avec le pignon conique de la pale voisine.
