Abstract

The present method of making (10) a workpiece (14) having a plurality of holes (12) defined therein includes the plurality of holes defining a specific flow at a specific flow condition. The method of making (10) the plurality of holes (12) includes generally the steps of forming a first portion (70) of holes (12), monitoring the flow; comparing the flow with the predetermined flow characteristic value; determining a flow requirement of a second portion (80) of holes (12) based on an accumulative predetermined flow characteristic value of first and second portions (70, 80) of holes (12) and the measured flow of the first portion (70) of holes (12). The aforementioned steps are successively repeated for the remaining portions of the plurality of holes (12).

Ce procédé, qui permet de réaliser (10) une pièce (14) dotée d'une pluralité de trous (12) qui y sont définis, porte sur la pluralité de ces trous définissant un flux spécifique dans des conditions de flux spécifiques. Pour réaliser (10) la pluralité de ces trous (12), on forme de façon générale une première série (70) des trous (12) en surveillant le flux; on compare celui-ci avec une valeur caractéristique de flux déterminée; on détermine un flux souhaité pour une deuxième série (80) de trous (12) en fonction d'une valeur cumulative caractéristique de flux déterminée, concernant la première et la deuxième séries (70, 80) de trous (12), et du flux mesuré pour la première série (70) des trous (12). Ces étapes sont répétées pour les séries restantes de la pluralité des trous (12).
