Abstract:
(EN) A process and apparatus is provided for cleaning deposits (9) from gas turbine engine components, particularly turbine blades (1), by locating or drilling a hole into the cavity of the component, inserting a cleaning tube (7) into the cavity and cleaning the deposits (9) from the cavity with a cleaning material inserted into the cavity through the tube (7), followed by sealing any hole drilled in the component.
(FR) Cette invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant de nettoyer les dépôts (9) situés sur les composants d'une turbine à gaz, notamment sur les aubes (1) de turbine. Ledit procédé consiste à localiser ou percer un trou dans la cavité du composant, à insérer un tube de nettoyage (7) dans la cavité, et à enlever les dépôts (9) situés dans la cavité à l'aide d'un matériau de nettoyage inséré dans ladite cavité pour le tube (7), après quoi tout trou percé dans le composant est ensuite obturé.
