Abstract:
(EN) A method for forming agglomerated powder particles whereby powder particles (11) absorb energy pulses emanating from a high intensity light source (18), which causes particles to soften to produce agglomerated powder particles by inter-particle contact, reducing the amount of fines, and producing agglomerated powder particles of increased average particle size, having smooth surfaces and improved flow characteristics for bulk powders (26).
(FR) Procédé permettant de former des particules de poudre agglomérées, dans lequel les particules de poudre (11) absorbent des impulsions d'énergie émanant d'une source lumineuse de forte intensité (18), ce qui les ramollit et donne des particules de poudre agglomérées par contact interparticulaire. Le procédé réduit la quantité de particules fines, et produit des particules agglomérées ayant une taille moyenne plus grande, des surfaces lisses et de meilleures caractéristiques d'écoulement pour les poudres en vrac (26).
