Erfindungsgemäß wird ein Beleuchtungskörper mit einem Diffusor vorgeschlagen, bei dem Kugeln oder Partikel mit einem gegenüber dem Diffusor unterschiedlichen Brechungsindex eindiffundiert sind. Dabei kann die Leuchtdichte an der Austrittsfläche des Diffusors durch die Anzahl, Größe und Homogenität der eindiffundierten Kugeln oder Partikel gesteuert werden. Eine geeignete Beleuchtungseinrichtung kann dabei die Leuchdichte in Abhängigkeit von der Bedienung hell oder dunkel schalten. Eine bevorzugte Anwendung ist die Beleuchtung von LCD-Anzeigen oder Meßgeräten in einem Kraftfahrzeug.

The invention proposes a lighting fitting with a diffuser in which beads or particles with a different refractive index from that of the diffuser are diffused. The luminance at the emergence surface of the diffuser can thereby be controlled by the number, size and uniformity of the diffused beads or particles. A suitable lighting fitting can increase or reduce the luminance depending on operation. A preferred application is the lighting of LCD displays or measuring instruments in a motor vehicle.

L'invention concerne un corps d'éclairage doté d'un diffuseur dans lequel des sphères ou particules sont diffusées avec différents indices de réfraction par rapport au diffuseur. La luminance au niveau de la surface de sortie du diffuseur peut être réglée par le nombre, la taille et l'homogénéité des sphères ou particules diffusées. Un dispositif d'éclairage adéquat permet ainsi d'augmenter ou de réduire la luminance en fonction de l'utilisation. Une utilisation préférée de ce corps d'éclairage est l'éclairage d'afficheurs à cristaux liquides ou d'instruments de mesure dans un véhicule automobile.
