(EN)The present invention relates to an axle or bogie construction for a vehicle, comprising support means (3) provided between an axle (2) and a frame (1) of the vehicle, suspension means (7, 8) provided at the ends of the support means, the suspension means being secured at their one end to the support means and at their other end to the frame of the vehicle directly or indirectly, and a triangular support (5) attached at one point by means of a joint centrally to the axle and journalled at two points to the frame of the vehicle on its opposite sides. In order to reduce vertical movements of the frame of the vehicle when the axles are turned, the suspension means (8) on one side of at least one axle (2), when the axle is viewed in the longitudinal direction, extend essentially upwards from the support means (3) or the springs and the suspension means (7) on the other side of the axle essentially downwards.
(FR)Cette invention a trait à une structure d'essieu ou de boggie de véhicule, comportant des organes de support (3) placés entre un essieu (2) et un châssis (1) du véhicule, des organes de suspension (7, 8) placés aux extrémités des organes de support, ces organes de suspension étant assujettis sur l'une de leurs extrémités aux organes de support et sur l'autre au châssis du véhicule, directement ou indirectement, et un support triangulaire (5) attaché à un point par un joint centré sur l'essieu et tourillonné en deux points sur les cotés opposés du châssis du véhicule. Afin de réduire des mouvements verticaux du châssis du véhicule lorsque les essieux tournent, les organes de suspension (8) sur un coté d'un essieu (2) au moins - lorsque l'on regarde l'essieu longitudinalement - s'étendent sensiblement vers le haut depuis les organes de support (3) ou bien ce sont les ressorts et les organes de suspension (7) sur l'autre coté de l'essieu qui s'étendent sensiblement vers le bas.
