(EN)Temporal variations in backscatter from an ultrasound contrast agent located in the vascular system and induced by movement of the scatterers are used to visualise the presence of contrast agent by determining areas where correlation between successive ultrasound images is poor. This low level of correlation arising from intravascular contrast agent movement permits distinction between stationary bulk tissue and moving bulk tissue since movement of the latter solid tissue scatterers is correlated.
(FR)Les variations temporelles de rétrodiffusion provenant d'un agent de contraste ultrasonore situé dans le système vasculaire et induites par le déplacement des diffuseurs peuvent être utilisées pour visualiser la présence de l'agent de contraste par détermination des zones où la corrélation entre des images ultrasonores successives est faible. Ce faible niveau de corrélation provenant du déplacement intravasculaire de l'agent de contraste permet de faire une distinction entre la masse tissulaire fixe et la masse tissulaire en mouvement à partir du moment où le déplacement des diffuseurs dans le tissu solide est mis en corrélation.
