(EN)A method for allocating timeslots to mobile stations in a cell in a cellular communication system is disclosed. First, the distance each mobile station is from a base station in the cell is determined. Then each mobile station is assigned a timeslot based upon the distance each mobile station is from the base station, wherein the timeslots within a contiguous group of timeslots are assigned to the mobile stations in the order of the mobile stations increasing distance from the base station and at least one timeslot at the back of the contiguous group is not assigned so as to allow bursts from the mobile stations to slide into the next timeslot.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé d'affectation de créneaux temporels à des stations mobiles à l'intérieur d'une cellule d'un système de communication cellulaire. Dans un premier temps, la distance séparant chaque station mobile d'une station de base est déterminée dans la cellule. Ensuite, chaque station mobile se voit affecter un créneau temporel en fonction de la distance qui la sépare de la station de base, les créneaux temporels à l'intérieur d'un groupe contigu de créneaux temporels étant affectés par ordre de distance croissante séparant les stations mobiles de la station de base et au moins un créneau temporel en fin dudit groupe contigu n'étant pas affecté de telle manière que des salves provenant des stations mobiles puissent glisser dans le créneau temporel suivant.
