(EN)An active current limiting circuit in which a semiconductor power transistor (15) is turned on slowly by charging its gate-source capacitance slowly, preferably by applying a ramp-type drive waveform to the gate of the power transistor (15). The slow turn-on of the power transistor (15) automatically limits the amplitude of the current flow through the main current path of the power transistor (15). In addition, ringing in the circuit is eliminated by the slow turn-off of the power transistor (15).
(FR)Cette invention concerne un circuit de limitation active du courant dans lequel on active progressivement un transistor de puissance à semi-conducteur (15) en augmentant progressivement la capacité source de son électrode de grille, de préférence en appliquant une onde de commande en dent de scie à l'électrode de grille du transistor de puissance (15). L'activation progressive du transistor de puissance (15) limite automatiquement l'amplitude du flux de courant à travers le trajet de courant principal du transistor de puissance (15). En outre, l'arrêt progressif du transistor de puissance (15) permet de supprimer les oscillations de dépassement.
