The present invention discloses hybridization assay probes, amplification primers, nucleic acid compositions and methods useful for detecting $i(Neisseria) nucleic acids. Hybridization assay probes and amplification primers that selectively detect $i(Neisseria meningitidis) and distinguish those $i(Neisseria meningitidis) from $i(Neisseria gonorrohoeae) are disclosed. Other hybridization probes selectively detect $i(Neisseria gonorrohoeae) and not $i(Neisseria meningitidis) are also described.

L'invention concerne des sondes de dosage d'hybridation, des amorces d'amplification, des compositions d'acide nucléique et des procédés de détection des acides nucléiques de $i(Neisseria). L'invention concerne également des sondes de dosage d'hybridation et les amorces d'amplification qui détectent de manière sélective les $i(Neisseria meningitis) et distinguent les dites $i(Neisseria meningitis) des $i(Neisseria gonorrohoeae).
