The manufacturing process has the following steps: the terminal part of a waveguide section (1) is processed by a controlled cold deformation process to achieve a radiant opening (2); by means of a positioning template there is fixed to the radiant opening a rigid support (9) with low loss and dielectric constant near the air and to which is in turn fixed a sub-reflector (8), the entirety constituting the illumination system; and the illumination system is then assembled in the apex of the antenna.

Le procédé de fabrication décrit comprend les étapes suivantes: on soumet à un procédé de déformation à froid régulé la partie terminale d'une section guide d'ondes (1) pour obtenir une ouverture rayonnante (2); on assujettit un support rigide (9) à faible perte et à constante diélectrique proche de celle de l'air sur l'ouverture rayonnante au moyen d'un gabarit de positionnement; et on assujettit à son tour un sous-réflecteur (8) sur le support rigide (9). L'ensemble constitue le système d'éclairage, qui est alors monté au sommet de l'antenne.
