The invention concerns compositions comprising a compound of general formula selected from: a) compound (1), b) compound (5), c) compound (6), d) compound (7), and e) compound (8). Said compositions show an excellent deposition to a surface followed by delayed release of the R-group. More in particular, the invention relates to betaine-ester quaternary ammonium derivatives having an odoriferous alcohol as releasable R-group such as geraniol.

Cette invention concerne des compositions comprenant un composé sélectionné parmi les composés suivant : a) composé (1), b) composé (5), c) composé (6), d) composé (7), et e) composé (8). Ces compositions se caractérisent par un excellent dépôt sur une surface suivi d'une libération retardée du groupe R. De manière plus spécifique cette invention concerne des dérivés d'ammonium quaternaire ester de bétaïne comprenant comme groupe R libérable un alcool odoriférant tel que le géraniol.
