Abstract

A process for producing calcium D-pantothenate, which comprises bringing a solution containing D-pantothenic acid directly produced by microbial fermentation into contact with activated carbon to adsorb the D-pantothenic acid to the activated carbon, eluting the D-pantothenic acid with a hydrophilic organic solvent, neutralizing the eluate with an alkali agent containing calcium to precipitate calcium D-pantothenate, and collecting the calcium D-pantothenate.

Procédé d'obtention de pantothénate de calcium, consistant à amener une solution renfermant de l'acide D-pantothénique obtenu directement par fermentation microbienne au contact d'un charbon activé afin que ce dernier adsorbe l'acide D-pentothénique, éluer l'acide D-pentothénique à l'aide d'un solvant organique hydrophile, neutraliser l'éluat à l'aide d'un agent alcalin contenant du calcium pour précipiter le D-pentothénate de calcium, puis recueillir ce D-pentothénate de calcium.
